Premiere of the first Gagauz film

An extraordinary event among the national communities of Ukraine. The movie theater "Kinopanorama" hosted a premiere of an artistic film about the life of the 19th-century Gagauz peasants "Swearing". This is the first Gagauzian film of this level. Filmed by young Gagauz artists. The film is very positive. Together with the authors of the film, we moved to the Gagauz villages of that time, saw the way of life, became familiar with the traditions, heard wonderful songs, dances. Together we were worried about our heroes - the same classical Romeo and Juliet (only from the Gagauz). The tragic completion of the film's plot left no one indifferent to the audience. We hope that talented actors, directors will continue to work on the development of Gagauz movie. Thank you to the Chairman of the Union of Gagauzis of Ukraine, Mr. Vasily Kalioglu, for the excellent opportunity to be involved in such a success, a significant step in the development of the Gagauz culture.
